SR&R Environmental is a stable and growing company in the Environmental and Industrial Services sector based in Wilmington, NC. We are looking for a full-time Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant to join our team! Must be very dependable, have great attendance, high attention to detail, and a great work ethic.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Answering the phone, transferring calls, taking messages, etc.
-Oversees Accounts Payable and timely payment of bills and files
-Oversees Accounts Receivable and timely submission of Invoices, and files.
-Ensure receivables are collected promptly
-Manage Payroll (time cards and spreadsheets to record daily time for entering into QuickBooks Payroll, new employee signup, health care enrollment, 401(k) Plan enrollments and submission of funds to the 401(k) plan, Payment of Payroll Liabilities bi-weekly and quarterly, New hire Reporting, Annual Filing of W-2's, Form 1099's.
-Coding, generating, and mailing of invoices
-Record receipts and make bank deposits
-Reconciles Bank Accounts (four)
-Reconciles Credit Card accounts (two)
-Performs Credit Checks for potential new Clients
-Generation of accounting reports for management
-Performs submission of Applications for Credit with New Vendors
-Responds to requests for Certificates of Insurance and Form W-9's
-Works with CPA in submission of quarterly financial reports and entry of Adjusting Journal Entries.
-Maintains Files for A/R, A/P, General Files & Vehicle/Equipment files
-Administrative Contact for Customer Base and Vendors
-Maintains current file of Forms 2290 (you can explain this)
-Provided clerical and administrative support to management as requested
-Must have experience
-Thorough knowledge of QuickBooks for Accounting and Payroll.
-Proficient in Word, Excel, Acrobat, etc.
-Friendly and professional demeanor
-Ability to Multi-task in a fast paced environment
-Excellent Attendance (Our hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00)
-Excellent organization and clerical skills
