Remediation Field Project Manager and Estimator
SR&R is growing again! We have an immediate opening for a Remediation Field Project Manager. This position is responsible for turnkey management and estimation of remediation projects including contaminated soil and groundwater removal and disposal, MMPE/ AFVR, remediation system installation, Pre Regulatory Landfill work, and general site work in and around remediation projects.
Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Preparation of proposals, including cost estimates, work scopes, and schedules. Must be able to take a project from start to finish from estimate to completion.
Serving as Project Manager for Remediation branch.
Management and oversight of small to midsize, technically complex projects involving waste site cleanup and construction, building and equipment decontamination and demolition.
Acting as an agent of business and being involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding the customer issues. (This is not a sales position per se, but there is obviously a large amount of client contact in the field.)
Oversight of Field Supervisors, Field Technicians, and Operators in order to meet project objectives and remedial budget expectations.
Providing engineering and technical support to Sales and Operations.
Managing procurement for projects including materials, equipment rental, temporary labor, and subcontractors.
Providing timely, concise and relevant information as necessary.
Providing technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement.
Performing other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management.
Strong environmental remediation background and experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required - Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Sciences or related disciplines preferred.
5+ years’ experience in environmental, remediation or site construction
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Cost estimating and computer experience.
Ability to problem solve and "think on your feet"
Ability to review and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
In depth knowledge of remediation technologies.
Windows proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong customer management skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing remediation sites.

SR&R is looking for an accomplished Business Development Professional for North and South Carolina. Candidates must be able to research and qualify accounts, develop relationships with key decision makers, analyze their needs, and provide solutions for current and future needs. 3+ years of industrial/environmental services business development experience a MUST. Self direction and motivation are key, as this job requires a lot of cold-calling, travel, and client entertainment.

Abatement Division Manager
After years of requests from our clients, we are now offering abatement services!
This position is to oversee the management and growth of the division and is an exciting opportunity to get in on the “ground floor” for the seasoned abatement professional looking to move up! This position will involve the management of the department from start to finish. You’ll be expected to visit with clients, present yourself in a professional fashion, communicate intelligently, create an accurate cost estimate of labor, materials, and disposal costs and then oversee the actual abatement itself. This will initially involve a very hands-on approach as you will be expected to run and participate in the crews performing the abatements. However, as the division grows more employees will be added under you until your job will become more managerial involving more estimation, sales, and management of crews under you.
It is understood that since this is currently a small portion of what we do, you’ll be expected to perform our other environmental and industrial services until the work volume picks up enough for you to focus exclusively on abatement. This would include our core environmental and industrial services.

Vactor Operator/ Pipe Camera Operator
SR&R Environmental is hiring! We have an immediate full -time opening for a Vactor Operator and/or Pipe Camera Robot Operator. We have a large amount of work in Eastern NC and need to add operators to keep up with it. We operate brand new Vactors and new Envirosight Rovver Camera units.
