SR&R Environmental is proud to announce that we have been selected to haul and dispose of several millions gallons of landfill leachate in a multi-year contract awarded by New Hanover County!   Leachate is the wastewater that naturally drains out of the landfill into an engineered collection system, and it is usually handled by the landfill's own wastewater treatment system.  However, in times of extreme precipitation, large amounts of water could overwhelm the system and any excess must be diverted to an alternate disposal route until the system can catch up.  C

SR&R made a name for itself by cleaning up after other companies, agencies, and individuals.  We've handled millions of gallons of contaminated wastewater from spills, leaks, or industrial processes.  We've handled countless tons of contaminated soil.   And we've done a tremendous amount to help organizations reduce or correct their environmental impact with the aid of our remediation services.  But in honor of our 20th Anniversary, we've decided it's time to focus on our own impact as well.  As part of our "Making a Difference&quot
