HAZMAT Services

Whether you need cleanup, transportation, or disposal of hazardous waste, SR&R Environmental can handle it.  Every year we respond to hundreds of emergency response hazmat events, but we also provide routine hazardous waste disposal. Hazardous waste is one of the broadest, most complicated issues to sort out.  The EPA and DOT both have guidelines for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste and hazardous materials, and navigating these regulations can be like walking through a minefield: one misstep and you’ll find yourself facing a disaster.  Fines are currently at $70,117 per violation, per day for the improper disposal of a RCRA Hazardous waste.

That’s why you need a permitted and approved company like SR&R to handle your waste.  First of all, SR&R Environmental is a licensed HAZ Waste Transporter operating a fleet of DOT Coded Hazmat Vacuum Tankers, Vacuum Trucks, and liftgate trailers.  This means our fleet is specifically designed to provide the safest transport and the broadest compatibility.  Second, our drivers are all cross-trained as Field Technicians to help them work safely around dangerous materials.  And last but not least, not only do we have insurance coverage that far exceeds the industry average, we have a compliance program that is second to none.  We only use approved and permitted Treatment Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDF’s) that meet SR&R’s stringent audit standards, and all wastes are meticulously labeled, packaged, and tracked.

When it comes to your waste, you can’t afford to cut corners.  Ultimately the waste is your responsibility “from cradle to grave” so sending it to an unpermitted or unlicensed facility could theoretically expose you to extraordinary liability.  That’s why partnering with SR&R is the smart move: we do it right and we do it the first time.

We can help you with any and all aspects of hazardous materials management:
